Genex is an offline first webapp built to serve farmers residing in remote areas where internet connection is sparse. The client deals in cattle reproduction and health products. Farmers being their target consumer base the app had to be simple yet functional. The client's requirement was to have an app that can work on tablets used by their ground staff to place orders from these remote areas and once the tablet has working internet, those orders would be placed online.

In an offline first approach the app is built upon web storage provided by modern browsers. All the required data is stored offline in browser storage. Once there is internet connection a two way sync is initiated to synchronize the data.

This app allowed ground staffs to add, modify products, orders, product images. The admin can upload data with their excel sheets and manage them. The app has Internationalization baked in and supports multiple languages viz. English and Spanish.
